Light Heavyweight
Moorer made his debut in March 1988 at the age of 20. He won 11 fights in a row by knockout, and for the 12th fight went out for the light heavyweight world champion in the then-unimportant version of WBO .

Fight with Evander Holyfield for IBF and WBA titles
In April 1994, Moorer entered the ring against Evander Holyfield . In the 2nd round, Moorer knocked down, but then the whole battle dominated.
