Final

The main competitions in men's high jump were held on July 10, 2016. The leader of the season and the current world indoor champion, Italian Gianmarco Tamberi, justified the status of the favorite and won the European Championship for the first time in his career. He was the only one of all participants who took a height of 2.32 m. For the bronze medalists of the tournament, 33-year-old German Aike Onnen and 25-year-old Chris Baker from the UK, this medal was the first major success at the international level [3] .
