Chapan-murza Kostrov - okotsk murza (prince), ruler of the estate under Terki , son of okotsk murza of Kokhostrov Biitemirov and brother of Albir-murza Kostrov . In 1648, Chapan Kostrov delivered two horses to Moscow as gifts for Tsar Mikhail Fedorovich [1] . By the decree of the tsar of Murza, Chapan Kokhostrov was granted a fur coat and a hat made of silver fox with a covered kufter , after which he was sent to the Terek city to serve [2] [3] . He was the ruler of independent ownership under the Terek city. It can be assumed that Chepan-murza had legally owned fixed rights to these possessions [4] .
