Adrian Paul was born on May 29, 1959 in London . It has English paternal roots and Italian maternal roots.

He began to get involved in stage art in his school years, taking part in various theater productions and other school events. In childhood, he was professionally involved in football, studied at the school of choreography. In 1979, twenty-year-old Adrian received the first prize in the competition “Could your guy become a model?” With the wording: “For originality, individuality and sexual charm” ^[2] .

At the same time, he signs a contract, after which he went on a tour of Europe. Friends advised him to go dancing. He studied choreography in Paris for three years, while simultaneously studying in a theater studio, taking acting classes.

After gaining certain skills, Adrian went to Hollywood , where he taught choreography to children, while simultaneously looking for a job as an actor. Adrian played his first role in the TV series Dynasty 2: The Colby Family in 1985. He played the cameo role of Russian ballet dancer Nikolai Rostov. In 1987, he took part in the Broadway show "Bouncers."

In the late 1980s, his film career began to gain momentum. In 1989, he starred in the film " Mask of the Red Death " (film adaptation of the famous short story by Edgar Allan Poe ). The film was warmly received by critics: on the Rotten Tomatoes website , it received 67% of positive reviews ^[3] .

In the early 1990s, the question arose of continuing the film Highlander . By that time, the 1986 film and its less successful sequel, Highlander 2: Revitalization (1990), was released. In the wake of the popularity of the series, two sequels of the film were shot - Highlander 3: The Last Dimension and Highlander 4: The End of the Game . Both films are a direct continuation of the first part, ignoring the events of the second, and the latter is a crossover of the film and the series (the heroes of the film were combined with the heroes of the series). Films did not receive positive reviews and failed at the box office.

Working on The Highlander, Paul gained the skills of director, screenwriter and producer: he released several parts of the series, produced the film Star Hunter in 2001, and released the television sequel Highlander in 2007 - Highlander: The Source .

He starred in the films of Alexander Nevsky " Moscow Heat " and " Black Rose ".

From 1990 to 1997, Adrian Paul was married to actress and fashion model Melanie Paul. The reason for the divorce, in addition to the absence of children, was the vigorous activity of Adrian Paul in the PEACE charity fund for helping children organized by him at his own expense ^[4] . Paul, who loved his wife very much, admitted that together they spent no more than three months a year - the rest of the time was devoted to the filming of the series Highlander, which took place in Canada and Paris.
