Description
Small moth-shaped butterflies. The length of the front wings of males is 2.9–3.0 mm, the span is 6.4–6.5 mm (the females are smaller). Color is golden gray. The antennal flagellum of males consists of 32 segments (24 in females). Caterpillars and biology are unknown. Adults appear in February [1] .
Etymology
The species name S. auriargentata is associated with a sign unique to the genus of a golden-gray coloration and comes from the combination of the Latin words aurum + argentata [1] .
