Club career
In adult football, he made his debut in 1949 with performances for Swansea City , in which he spent seven seasons, took part in 148 championship matches and scored 60 goals. Most of the time spent in the “swans” was the main player in the defense of the team. As part of Swansea City, he was one of the team's top scorers, with an average performance of 0.41 goals per championship game.
