Ozerki is a farm in the Ilovlinsky district of the Volgograd region , the administrative center of the Ozersky rural settlement .

History
Date of establishment not established. The farm belonged to the yurt of the village of Starogrigoryevskaya of the Second Don Don Region of the Don Army . According to the Alphabetical List of Populated Areas of the Don Don Army Area of 1915, 162 male and 167 female souls lived on the Ozyorskiy farm, there was a farm board on the farm [2] .
In 1921, as part of the Second Don District, the farm was included in the Tsaritsyn province [3] . Since 1928 - as part of the Ilovlinsky district of the Stalingrad district (the district was liquidated in 1930) of the Lower Volga region (since 1934 - the Stalingrad region) [4] . Since 1935 - as part of the Logovsky district of the Stalingrad region (since 1936 - the Stalingrad region ) [5] . In the 1940-50s, the Pochta-Ozerki farm was allocated as a separate settlement. In 1963, in connection with the liquidation of the Logovsky District, the farm was again included in the Frolovsky District [5] . As part of the Ilovlinsky district - since 1965 [6] .
General physical and geographical characteristics
The farm is located in the steppe . To the south and southwest of the farm, partially secured Archedinsky-Don sands extend. The center of the farm is located at an altitude of about 65 meters above sea level [7] . The soil is dark chestnut [8] .
A highway passes through the farm connecting the village of Log and the Caspian federal highway with the Beluzhino-Koldairov farm (with a ferry crossing to the village of Sirotinskaya ). By road, the distance to the regional center of Volgograd is 110 km, to the regional center of Ilovlya - 35 km [9] . In the area of the farm on the Don River there is a ferry to the village of Novogrigoryevskaya [7] . The nearest train station is located in the village of Log (12 km).

The climate is temperate continental (according to the Köppen - Dfa climate classification ). Air temperature has a pronounced annual course. The average annual temperature is positive and amounts to + 7.8 ° С, the average temperature in January is −8.1 ° С, in July +23.3 ° С. The estimated long-term rainfall rate is 387 mm, the highest rainfall occurs in June (44 mm), the least in March (22 mm) [10] .
