Biography
He graduated from the St. Petersburg Medical and Surgical Academy (1881).
Since 1882, he lectured and conducted practical classes at the first Russian dental school of F.I. Vazhinsky. In 1883 he founded the St. Petersburg Society of Dentists and Dentists. Since 1886, he conducted systematic examinations of the oral cavity and dental treatment in children.
In 1889, he was awarded the title of Honorary Professor at the Sklifosovsky Clinical Institute . In 1891 he defended his thesis "Modern Prevention and Treatment of Dental Caries" for the degree of Doctor of Medicine.
Since 1900, he headed the first department of dental diseases in Russia at the St. Petersburg Women's Medical Institute .
