Suleiman Fattakhovich Burkhanov ( 1942 - 1983 ) - Soviet choreographer in the field of children's choreography, teacher. Among his productions are “March of the Tin Soldiers” and “Red Devils”.

Biography
Born in 1942 .
In 1961 he graduated from the national branch of the performing faculty of the Leningrad Choreographic School. A. Ya. Vaganova [1] , later - the choreography department of GITIS . He worked at the Tajik Opera and Ballet Theater in 1961-1963 as an artist, and in 1973-1976. choreographer.
In 1969-1973 he worked as the chief choreographer of the Yakut Musical Theater , where he staged the ballets Apassionata ( L. Beethoven , 1970), Eagles Fly to the North ( G. Komrakov , 1971), and Sacred Ilmen ( D. Saliman Vladimir , 1972) [2] . In 1972 he composed for the ballet dancers Anatoly Ulturgashev and Sargylan Savvin, who participated in the I All-Union Competition of Artists and Choreographers in Moscow, the numbers “Northern Ballad” (accompanied by a khomus ) and “Hunter and Deer” [3] .
Since 1976, Suleiman Fattakhovich has been the choreographer of the Perm Choreographic School , where he staged the ballet White Dove ( B. Totsyuk , 1968), who received a diploma of the 1st degree from the review of choreographic schools in Leningrad and the Perm Komsomol Prize . In the same year, the ballet was shown on the stage of the Kremlin Palace of Congresses in Moscow.
In 1980-1983, Burkhanov was the artistic director and choreographer of the Nutcracker children's choreographic ensemble of the Perm Regional Philharmonic Society , whose repertoire was also composed by Burkhanov's productions. Some of the ensemble members became professional artists. A colored musical film “Fun to Walk Together” [4] (1983, Perm Television Studio, director O. Fedorushchenko) was shot about this ensemble and its leader.

He died on March 3, 1983 in Perm, where he was buried [5] .
In 2000 he was awarded the title “Outstanding Worker of Perm Ballet of the 20th Century” in the nomination “Choreographer” [5] .
