Story

Chris and Annie met on vacation. Having fallen in love, they created a family in which a son and daughter later appeared. But one day they lose both children in a car accident at once. Annie is depressed, and Chris is trying to forget, surrendering to the profession of pediatric doctor.

Years later, Chris also gets into a car accident and dies. His soul goes to heaven.

After some time, Annie commits suicide, unable to stand complete loneliness. Due to the commission of mortal sin, her soul goes to hell. Having learned about this, Chris’s soul sets off in search of his wife.

The film received mixed reviews from film critics [2] [3] . The film has a 54% rating on the Rotten Tomatoes website, which is based on 69 reviews from critics, with an average rating of 5.62 out of 10 [4] . On Metacritic - 44 points out of 100 based on 25 reviews [5] .

Roger Ebert rated the film at 3.5 stars out of four [6] . The critic called the film exciting and very beautiful, but regretted that pushing the viewer to an emotional edge, the film does not push him further. According to Ebert, the film could turn out better, but, despite the shortcomings, it is a film that should be cherished [6] .
