Content
Club career
Studying at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill , in 2011-2012, Lopez played for the university football team [2] . During the offseason in the student league, he played for the clubs in the fourth division - Orange County Blue Star in 2011 and PSA Ileth in 2012.
At the MLS Super Draft 2013, Lopez was selected by the Kansas City Sporting Club in the first round under number 14 [3] . On May 29, in the Lamar Hunt Cup match against Des Moines Menis, he made his debut for Sporting [4] . In March 2014, in order to receive gaming practice, Lopez on a loan was transferred to the USL Pro affiliate Orlando City [5] . On April 6, in his match against Rochester Rainos , he made his debut for a new team [6] . In the summer of the same year, Miki on a loan went to another partner club, “ Oklahoma City Energy ” [7] . On June 15, in a duel against Sacramento Ripablic , he made his debut for a new club [8] . Two weeks later, in a match against Sacramento Ripablic, Lopez scored his first goal for Oklahoma City Energy. [9] After the lease ended, he returned to Sporting Kansas City. July 16, in a match against Columbus Crew , he made his debut in MLS [10] . In March 2015, Miki was again leased to Oklahoma City Energy. [11] After the end of the 2015 season, Lopez was left without a contract [12] .
In January 2016, Lopez joined New York City [13] [14] . On March 6, in his match against the Chicago Fire , he made his debut for a new team [15] . After the end of the 2017 season , New York City did not renew the contract with Lopez [16] .
On January 26, 2018, Lopez signed a contract with the USL San Antonio club for the 2018 season [17] . In the debut match for the Texas team, on March 17, in the match of the first round of the season against Sacramento Ripablic, he scored a goal [18] .
International Career
In 2013, as part of the U.S. youth team, Lopez became a finalist in the CONCACAF Youth Championship in Mexico . In the tournament, he played in matches against teams of Mexico [19] , Haiti [20] , Cuba [21] and Costa Rica [22] .
In the summer of the same year, Miki took part in the youth world championship in Turkey . At the tournament, he took part in matches against teams of Spain [23] , Ghana [24] and France [25] . In 2013, Lopez also represented the USA at the Toulon Tournament .
