Biography
As an athlete in the position of goalkeeper, he played in the Kalinin clubs “Rainbow” and “Planet”, became the prize winner and winner of the regional championship. He played for the student team at the All-Union tournament and even spent two matches for [[N {R | SKA MBO]] in the championship of the Soviet Union.
He initiated the creation of the Tver Aegis team - the predecessor of the THK club. Since 1990, he worked in his hometown as the director of the Tver SDYUSSHOR hockey. In 1995, as president, he personally headed the THC, which was almost completely formed from the pupils of the school.
Among his students are Honored Master of Sports of Russia, World Champion 2012, two-time Gagarin Cup winner Denis Kokarev , 2014 World Champion and Gagarin Cup winner Alexander Kutuzov , Honored Masters of Sports of Russia, world champions for the hearing impaired and repeated winners of the Deaflympics Andrei Prudnikov and Dmitry Arseniev, World Universiade medalist Dmitry Evdokimov and a number of other famous pupils of the Tver hockey school.
The Russian national team consisting of hard of hearing hockey players won the silver of the Deaflympics in Sweden (2003) under his leadership.
In recent years, the honored coach worked in the Tver Sports School for Hockey.
Director Pavel Drozdov invited the coach as a consultant to shoot the feature film "Ice".
