Tabore ( Latvian: Tabore ) is a settlement in the Daugavpils region of Latvia . The administrative center of Tabor volost . Located on the left bank of the Western Dvina . The distance to the city of Daugavpils is about 9 km [1] . According to data for 2015, 296 people lived in the village [2] . There is a volost administration, an elementary school (in a former estate), a feldsher and midwife center, and a shop.

History
In Soviet times, the settlement was called Tabora and was the center of the Taborsky village council of the Daugavpils district . In the village was the Avangards collective farm [1] .
