The Faculty of Geography of the University of Belgrade ( Serb. Faculty of Geography of the University of Beograd ) is one of the 31 faculties of the University of Belgrade that specializes in the field of geography, tourism, ecology, as well as area planning specialists. He counts his actual history since 1893 , although he was de facto approved only in 1994 after separation from the Faculty of Natural Mathematics.

The faculty is located in several buildings: in the building on Student Square on the third floor (the building belongs to the Faculty of Philology); on Crveni Krstu next to the Institute of Demography and the information laboratory; in the building of the former Natural Mathematics Faculty. Until 2011, some of the premises belonging to the Faculty of Physics were also used by the Faculty of Geography; Since 2011, part of the classes has been held in the building of the Desanka Maksimovich Elementary School in Zemun.
Content
History
Geography has been taught at the University of Belgrade since 1893, when the famous geographer Jovan Zvić founded the Geographic Plant [1] . Prior to this, classes have been held since 1853 at the Lyceum of Kragujevac. The first classes at the University of Belgrade were held at the Faculty of Philosophy , then switched to the natural-mathematical. In 1990-1994, the Department of Geography de jure was part of the natural-mathematical, until it completely separated. In 2011, the faculty received an educational and scientific base in the village of Blazhevo at the foot of Kopaonik [2] .
The faculty publishes the journals Zabornik Radova Geografskogo Faculty, The environment, Demographics, Territorium and Prostor.

Education is given in the specialties “Geography”, “Terrain planning” (since 1977), “Demography” (since 1999), “Geospatial basics of the environment” (since 2000) and “Tourism” (since 2007). The faculty consists of five institutes:
