Boron consists of scattered forests, in which from 5 to 40% of the stand is pine, in some places birch or aspen dominate. The open spaces between the forest fragments are occupied by meadow and true turf-grass steppes in which the feathery feather grass grows (Stipa pennata - Red Data Book of Altai Territory, 2006; Red Data Book of the Russian Federation, 2008), Red Hairy (S. capillata), and Snake Spread (Cleistogenes squarrosa ), narrow-leaved bluegrass (Poa angustifolia), rough cornflower (Centaurea scabiosa), poisonous hawk (Hieracium virosum), Tyumentsev’s hawk (Pilosella tjumentzevii), sticky onion (Allium strictum), large-leaved gentian Polyphyllum polyphylla (Polian gentian) , knotweed unnoticed (P. neglectum), stonecrop ordinary (S edum telephium) and other species.
