Kryvyi Rih Uyezd (Kryvyi Rih [1] ) is an administrative-territorial unit of the Russian Empire in 1783–1796 and the Ukrainian SSR in 1919–1923 with a center in the city of Kryvyi Rih .

History
Novorossiysk province
Krivoy Rog Uyezd is the successor of Ingul Uyezd with the center in Ingulsk , which was formed in 1775 on the lands of the Ingul Palanca and part of the territory of the former Moldavian Hussar Regiment . The main settlements were the settlements of Kutsovka (now Novgorod ), Kalinovka , Krivoy Rog , and also the Ingul trench. In 1775-1776 he entered the Kherson province , then - the Nikopol province of the Novorossiysk province.
In 1783, Krivoy Rog became a county town and the county was renamed Krivorozhsky. It was abolished in 1796.
Yekaterinoslav Province
It was formed on February 26, 1919 by the First Congress of Soviets of the Krivorozhsky District consisting of 30 volosts [2] . A. K. Fesenko was elected chairman of the county executive committee. 17 volosts of the Kherson district and one volost of the Elizavetgrad district of the Kherson province were transferred to the county; 9 - the Upper Dnieper county and 7 - the Alexandria district of the Yekaterinoslav province. In the county, iron ore Krivoy Rog and manganese ore manganese were combined.
Administratively, the county was divided into 8 districts and volosts included in their composition [3] :
- Bokovskaya, Bratolyubovskaya, Gurovskaya, Petrovsky volost;
- Annovskaya, Korsunevskaya, Vesyoloternovskaya, Lozovatskaya , Ordovasilevsky volost ;
- Saksaganskaya, Pyatikhatskaya , Zelenovskaya, Zhovtyanskaya volost ;
- Sofievskaya , Maryanovskaya, Radiant, Novonikolaevsky volost;
- Grushevskaya, Maryinsky, Bazavlukskaya , Kamensky volost;
- Pokrovskaya, Kostroma, Mikhailovskaya, Vysokopolskaya, Arkhangelsk volost [4] ;
- Shirokovskaya , Inguletskaya , Nikolaevskaya-1, Novokrivorozhskaya , Shesternyanskaya volost ;
- Kazankovskaya, Sofiegeykovskaya, Nikolaevskaya-2, Fedorovskaya, Bogoblagodatsky volost .

As a result of the administrative reform of 1923, Kryvyi Rih County was transformed into the Kryvyi Rih District .
