Inigo Errejón Galván ( Spanish Íñigo Errejón Galván ; born December 14, 1983 , Madrid ) is a Spanish political scientist, politician, MP from the Madrid District of the 11th and 12th Convocation of the Spanish Cortes , namely its lower house of the Congress of Deputies .

Doctor of Political Science at Complutense University , Madrid. In his doctoral dissertation, Errejon studied the Movement to Socialism in Bolivia . Among his research topics are also democracy, political conflict, analysis of discourse and hegemony, processes of political change and state transformation in Latin America.
Errekhon was the director of the campaign " Podemos " [2] . After losing the struggle for power in the party, he then left it and formed the “Más Madrid” coalition with the mayor of Madrid, Manuela Carmena .

Biography
The early years
The son of Jose Antonio Errejon Villazeros, a career official with a high position in public administration. Errejon’s father was also a member of the Maoist Workers Party of Spain during the so-called Spanish Transition to Democracy, and then was among the signatories of the Tenerife manifesto, which marked the beginning of the Confederation of Greens in Spain [3] . He was also a member of the Trotskyist anti-capitalist left movement.
Inigo Errejón was a scout in his teens [4] .
Academic and protest activities
He studied political science at Complutense University of Madrid , received a specialist degree in 2006. During his studies at the university, he took an active part in the activities of leftist movements, participated in anti-globalist protests in Genoa (July 2001, protests against the G8 meeting, which killed anarchist activist Carlo Giuliani ), and protests in Prague (September 2000, the target of which was the annual meeting of the leaders of the Navy and WB ) and in Scotland (July 2005 against the next meeting of the G8), participated in demonstrations against the war in Iraq and speeches on March 13, 2004, which took place in front of the Madrid headquarters of the People’s Party Spain after the attacks of March 11, 2004 [5] .
In 2006, Errejon was one of the founders of the student association Contrapoder (Lane Against Power), a left-wing, anti-capitalist and internationalist organization that held protests against the presence of Rosa Dies at Complutense University of Madrid and organized a meeting with the presidents of Bolivia Evo Morales at the Faculty of Political Sciences [6] .
In 2012, Errejon received his doctorate for a thesis on “The struggle for leadership during the first government of the Movement to Socialism” in Bolivia (2006-2009): Discourse Analysis ”under the direction of Geriberto Cairo Caru, who was also the scientific adviser to Pablo Iglesias Turrion , Secretary General of Podemos [7] .
Participation in Podemos
In early 2014, Pablo Iglesias invited Errejon to become the director of the Podemos election campaign in the May 2014 elections to the European Parliament . The campaign was successful, for the first time in the history of Spain, a new party supplanted two traditional parties - the People’s Party and the PSOE, and took third place and received 1,245,948 votes and five seats in the European Parliament [8] .
Errekhon became one of the media leaders of Podemos, in fact Iglesias' right hand and the second person in the party. He took an active part in the talk show of the La Sexta Noche television channel [9] .
On November 15, 2014, Errejon was elected one of 11 members of the Podemos Coordination Council, responsible for the secretariat for political affairs [10] .
Since January 13, 2016, Errekhon in the Congress of Deputies has been the speaker of the Confederal Group “Unidos-Podemos”, which includes the parties “Podemos” and “ United Left ”, as well as a number of smaller ones. "Podemos" is currently the second largest number of members and the third largest number of seats in Parliament by the Spanish party [11] .
