Biography
Kolya was born on November 14, 1929 in the city of Kremenchug, Poltava region of the Ukrainian SSR .
In September 1941, having attributed to himself, at the age of three, Kolya voluntarily joined the ranks of the Red Army . He shot accurately, so he was credited with snipers.
In battles with the German invaders, he was wounded three times. He fought on the Western , South-Western , Stalingrad , 2nd Ukrainian and 2nd Belorussian fronts .
By the end of May 1942, the Red Army soldier N.D. Khristichenko had 38 killed Germans on his personal account. For this he was awarded the medal “For Courage”.
By the end of the war, Kolya Khristichenko had already on his battle account 75 Nazis destroyed. By Order No. 530 of May 16, 1945, he was awarded the Order of the Red Star for the troops of the 2nd Belorussian Front [1] .
After the war
After the war, Kolya Khristichenko moved to the city of Kustanai , now Kostanay ( Kazakhstan ).
March 11, 1985, on the occasion of the 40th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945, was awarded the Order of the Patriotic War of the 2nd degree.
