Nikolai Alexandrovich Burawski (born June 25, 1940 ) is a Ukrainian musicologist, folklorist. People's Artist of Ukraine [1] [2] . Artistic director of the Kiev Academic Theater of Ukrainian Folklore “Bereginya” since 1986, member of the Central Board of the All-Ukrainian Society “Enlightenment” named after Taras Shevchenko .

Born June 25, 1940. In 1972-83 he was the conductor of the Capella Bandura-players of Ukraine.
Deputy of the Dnieper district in Kiev, the council of two convocations. Coronet General Troops of Zaporizhzhya.
Awards and titles
According to the decree of the President of Ukraine “On conferring the honorary titles of Ukraine to cultural and art workers” dated May 4, 1994 No. 209/94 “... for the significant personal contribution to the development of Ukrainian culture, high professional skills ...” the honorary title of Ukraine “ Honored Artist of Ukraine ” [3] . Winner of the international prize (Korea, 1996 ). He was awarded an honorary diploma of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine , an honorary distinction of the Ministry of Culture and Arts of Ukraine "For a significant personal contribution to the development of national culture and art."
