Anthony Jozef Dombsky ( 1706 - July 4, 1771 , Lubranets ) - statesman of the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth, elder of Inowroclaw (1725-1740), governor of Brzeесciu-Kuyavsky (1734-1770), elder of Dybów and Nehoruv.

Biography
Representative of the Polish gentry clan Dombian coat of arms " Godzemba ". The eldest son is Marshal of the outlandish crown crown Wojciech Domba from Lubrantz (1676-1725) and Adelaide Cecilia Theresa Radziwill (1690-1725), daughter of the Grand Lithuanian Chancellor, Prince Dominic Nikolai Radziwill.
In 1725 - 1740 he was the headman of Inowroclaw , the royal captain , the headman of the Dybuvsky (1738) and non-Khoruvsky (1758). Supporter of the royal royal party. In 1741, he sold the estate of Kuchkov to the subordinate crown Casimir Dombsky.
On October 17, 1738, at a parliamentary session, Antony Jozef Dombsky advocated increasing the number of crown troops and demanded the creation of a confederation with ministers of the Saxon and Polish courts. He demanded that the Polish king permanently reside in Poland. Anthony Jozef Dombsky supported the patriotic party, protesting against the abuse of power by the Czartoryski (“Surname”).
In 1734 - 1770, Anthony Jozef Dombsky held the post of governor of Brzeесciu-Kuyavsky.
In 1730, he was elected ambassador from the Sohachev land to the Sejm. In 1733, Anthony Dombsky was elected a deputy (ambassador) from the Brzeцć-Kuyavsky Voivodeship to the electoral parliament , where he supported the candidacy of Stanislav Leszczynski for the Polish royal throne. In 1735, he signed a decree of the General Council of the Warsaw Confederation . In 1766, he was appointed senator for life.
In 1735, Anthony Jozef Dombsky was awarded the Order of the White Eagle.
The voivode of Brzestz-Kuyavia Anthony Jozef Dombsky was truthful, eloquent and hospitable, enjoyed recognition among the Kuyavian nobility. In 1770, he refused to fulfill the duties of governor of Brzeесci Kuyavsky. His fortune was estimated at 4 million zlotys.
Family and Children
He was married to Princess Anna Carolina of Lubomirsky (1700-1770), daughter of the governor of Sandomierz , Prince Jerzy Alexander Lubomirsky (c. 1669-1735). The couple had three children:
- August Dombsky, Pshdetsky, Dyubuvsky and Gostinsky elders
- Jan Dombsky (1730-1769), adjutant general of the royal court
- Stanislav Dombsky (d. 1809), the last governor of Brzeесć-Kuyavsky.
