Biography

Born November 24, 1947 in Vitebsk ( Belarusian SSR ) in the family of a soldier. His parents are father Alexander Arkadyevich and mother Elena Eduardovna.

Study In 1966 , Vladislav Alexandrovich graduated from 11 classes of secondary school number 4 in the city of Gomel ( BSSR ) and in the same year entered the Ryazan Military School , Order of the Red Star Automotive School , and graduated in 1969 with honors and enrollment on the Board of Honor. After college, Lieutenant V.A. Polonsky was sent to the Penza Higher Engineering Artillery School. Chief Marshal of Artillery N. N. Voronov to the post of Deputy Commander of an automobile company for the technical part of the training support division. It was here, under the direction of the experienced division commander, Lieutenant Colonel P.V. Debelyuk, and the head of the automotive service of the school, Major V.G. Metelev, that a young motorist officer was formed. The position of the Deputy Commander of the Automobile Battalion on the technical part of the harvest in 1972 became a serious test of the lieutenant’s professional training, after which he was awarded his first Government Award - the Medal For Labor Valor .

In 1973, Senior Lieutenant V. Polonsky was transferred to the Group of Soviet Forces in Germany , from where in 1977 from the post of Chief of Staff of a separate repair and restoration battalion of 7Гв. Panzer Division 1 Guards. He enters the tank army at the automotive department of the military academy of logistics and transport .

After graduating from the military academy in 1980, a major in military rank, Vladislav Polonsky, was appointed to the position of an armament control officer of the High Command of the Far East ( Ulan-Ude ), where he successively held the posts of senior officer, deputy chief of armament headquarters, lieutenant colonel in 1983 and the colonel in 1988 .

The service in the High Command of the Far Eastern Forces formed V. A. Polonsky as a technical support specialist at the operational and strategic level, which greatly helped him in his further service in the central office of the Ministry of Defense . The Motherland noted the merits of V.A. Polonsky during this period with the Order “For Service to the Motherland in the Armed Forces of the USSR” III degree.

Since 1989 - in the main automobile administration of the USSR Ministry of Defense (GLAVTU) at the positions of senior officer, head of department, head of organizational and planning management - Deputy Head of GLAVTU MO. In 1993, V. A. Polonsky was promoted to the rank of major general.

After the formation of the Main Automobile and Armored Directorate (GABTU) in 1995, Major General V. Polonsky served as Chief of Staff - First Deputy Head of the Main Directorate of the National Defense Directorate of the Defense Ministry of the Russian Federation , and on January 31, 2004, became Chief of the Main Automotive Armored Directorate of the Defense Ministry of the Russian Federation . This position was held by Vladislav Aleksandrovich until November 22, 2007. 2 days before his 60th birthday, he was dismissed from the post with the wording “by length of service” and dismissed from military service [1] .

As head of the GABTU Defense Ministry of the Russian Federation, he continued to implement projects to create new and modernize existing models of armored vehicles and military vehicles, to improve the management of tank and auto-technical systems in the field of equipment maintenance and repair, training officer personnel and junior specialists in the armored service.

In 2005, he was promoted to colonel general.

After graduating from military service in 2007 and to the present - work in the industry ( KAMAZ ) to create modern models of military vehicles.

Candidate of Technical Sciences ( 2006 ), Honored Military Specialist of the Russian Federation ( 2006 ), laureate of the Prize of the Government of the Russian Federation in the field of science and technology ( 2006 ).

Vladislav Alexandrovich Polonsky is married, has two daughters and four grandchildren.
