Honored Artist of the Russian Federation (since 1984), People's Artist of the Republic of Tatarstan (since 1980), People's Artist of the Karakalpak Republic (1980), soloist of the Tatar Academic State Opera and Ballet Theater named after M. Jalil (since 1973), professor of the Kazan State Conservatory named after N. G. Zhiganova .

Biography

In 1971 he graduated from the Novosibirsk State Conservatory .

In 1968-1973 - Soloist of the Novosibirsk Opera and Ballet Theater .

In the years 1973-2016. - Soloist of the Tatar Academic State Opera and Ballet Theater named after M. Jalil .

Since 1980 - lecturer in the class of solo academic singing of the Kazan State Conservatory. N. G. Zhiganova . Since 1997 - Associate Professor, since 2005 - Professor.

He was buried at the Arskoye cemetery in Kazan.

Opera Repertoire

Over 43 years of work on the opera stage, he performed more than 60 parts, among which, of course, the image of Boris Godunov in the opera of the same name by M. Mussorgsky occupies a special place. “... The voice and acting talent of Yuri Borisenko, the performer of the main part (Boris), is beyond criticism,” the Dutch press wrote about him during the European tour of the theater’s opera troupe.
