Nina V. Vasilenko ( December 6, 1906 - April 26, 1999 ) - Soviet and Ukrainian animator, director and screenwriter . She worked in the genre of hand-drawn animation, together with Ippolit Lazarchuk and Irina Gurvich stood at the origins of the Ukrainian animation at Kievnauchfilm .

Biography
Born on December 6, 1906 .
She studied at the Higher Art and Technical Studios (VHUTEMAS) in the workshop of Vladimir Favorsky [1]
In 1928 - 1931 she studied at the Moscow Polygraphic Institute.
After graduation she worked as a cartoon artist at the Kiev studio of feature films .
In 1960 - 1975 - director-animator at "Kievnauchfilm".
