Distribution

South America : Peru , wet alpine meadows of paramo , Andes (4100 m), Dept. Ancash, 35 km southeast Huaraz, Cerro Cahuish, 9 ° 40'50 "S, 77 ° 13'32" W, Quabrada Pucavado [1] .

Description

Small butterfly-shaped butterflies. The length of the front wings of the males is 4.0-4.5 mm, wingspan - 8.6-9.6 mm. The color is yellowish and grayish brown. Flagellum of males consists of 42 segments. Caterpillars and biology are unknown. Adults appear in February [1] .

Etymology

The species name S. pseudorobusta was given by signs of similarity with the species Stigmella robusta [1] .
