Tyvrovsky district ( Ukrainian: Tivrіvsky district ) is an administrative unit in the center of Vinnitsa region of Ukraine . The administrative center is the urban-type village of Tyvrov .

Geography
Area - 880 km² (18th among districts). The main rivers are the Southern Bug .
History
The district was founded in 1923 .
Demographics
The population of the district is 43,396 people (as of June 1, 2013), including the urban population of 23,007 people (53.01%), and the rural population of 20,389 people (46.99%).

The largest enterprises: Gnivansky plant SZHB, Gnivansky quarry, Sutiskovsky plant AEA, Val-ROM-Ukraine, Agro-Etalon.
Transport
A bus connection with Tomashpol, Kryzhopol, Mogilev-Podolsky, Shargorod passes through the district. In the city of Gnivan there is the Gnivan railway station, where passenger and commuter trains stop. In sec. Selishche is a railway platform on which commuter trains stop.
