The Church of St. Barbara ( Belor. Kaszel St. Barbara ) is a Catholic church in the village of Zamost , Minsk region , Belarus . It refers to the Nesvizh Dean's Office of the Minsk-Mogilev Archdiocese . The monument of architecture, built in 1620 (according to other data in 1649) [1] , is included in the State List of Historical and Cultural Values of the Republic of Belarus (code 612Г000554) [2] . The architectural style of the building combines the features of the Renaissance and the early Baroque [2] . Located at: Sadovaya Street 2a.

Content
History
The temple was erected in the first half of the XVII century at the expense of the local gentry Andrei Samuel Winki-Ratomsky. According to some sources, he initially acted as a Calvinist temple [3] . In the second half of the 17th century, a Jesuit mission operated at the church [1] . In 1681–1683, artist Jacek Hilitskiy performed three wall compositions on historical themes for the church [4]
After the defeat of the 1863 uprising in 1865, he was re-consecrated into the Orthodox Church. In Soviet times, was used as an administrative building. In the 1990s, the building was returned to the Catholic Church and after restoration the church became operational [5] .
Architecture
Church of sv. Barbara is a single-nave stone building, which consists of a square in terms of the main volume, a pentahedral altar apse and a high porch that is similar to a four-sided tower. The courtyard is crowned with a triangular pediment , at the bottom is an arched entrance. The side walls of the apse are adjacent to the nave at an oblique angle, along the sides of the apse are adjacent stretched across the sacristy . The church is covered with a common gable roof, above the apse turning into a hip.
The walls of the nave are decorated with thin pilasters and completed with a profiled cornice. The windows are tall, with a semi-circular finish. Above the lower tier of the porch is a cross vault, windows with bow terminations. The main volume is covered with a flat wooden ceiling [1] [2]
