Boldachev, Alexander Alexandrovich

Alexander Alexandrovich Boldachev (born January 21, 1990) is a Russian harpist, composer and teacher ^{[1] [2]} .

Biography

Born in 1990 in St. Petersburg , in the family of a professor at the St. Petersburg Conservatory named after N.A. Rimsky-Korsakov, Irina Sharapova and philosopher, futurologist Alexander Boldachev .

He received his primary musical education at the St. Petersburg Musical Lyceum at the St. Petersburg Conservatory in harp (Karina Maleeva) and composition (Svetlana Lavrova).

Graduate of the Zurich High School of Music , harp class of Professor Catherine Michel, and Professor Sarah O'Brien.

Career

He began his concert activity at the age of 5, at the same time he composed his first composer opuses. For the 6-year-old harpist, composer Sergey Slonimsky wrote “Christmas Ringing”, which the young musician performed at the Christmas festival in St. Petersburg. At the age of eight, his international career begins with a concert with the Lithuanian State Orchestra . ^[3]

In 2014-2015, Alexander recorded two records “Harp as Orchestra” (revealing the technical and timbre features of the instrument, performing orchestral melodies of great composers) and “From Russia with Harp” (works of 15 Russian composers from Alyabyev to Slonimsky, arranged for harp and collected in thematic groups “Birds”, “Flowers”, “Ballets”, “Pictures” and “Waltzes”).
