Biography

Born on December 5, 1926 in the village of Pustovojty, Khmelnytskyi districts of Vinnitsa region of the Ukrainian SSR, now Ukraine.

In 1942 he graduated from seven classes of a secondary school while being evacuated in the city of Sukhumi . In 1951 he arrived in the city of Berezniki, Perm Region (now Perm Krai ), where he joined the Berezniki assembly department Soyuzprommontazh as a mechanic. Since 1954, he worked as a foreman of installers of technological equipment and metal structures in the Uralkhimmontazh trust, then as a foreman of installers in the 2nd installation department of the Uralkhimmontazh trust. He participated in the construction of facilities at the Bereznikovsky nitrogen fertilizer plant, the First Potash Plant, the Bereznikovsky Soda Plant, as well as in the construction of the 2nd and 3rd Bereznikovsky Potash Plant, and the 2nd Solikamsk Potash Plant. In 1976, A.N. Tarnovsky was transferred by the installer to the Perm Installation Department No. 1 of the Uralkhimmontazh Trust for the construction of Permnefteorgsintez association facilities.

After retiring, he lived in Perm . He died in 1989 in Perm, was buried in the Northern cemetery of the city. [one]

Rewards

  • By a decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR of April 12, 1974 for outstanding production success and a great contribution to the early completion of the construction of the first stage of the Third Bereznikovsky Potash Plant and the Southern Mining and Processing Complex of the Solikamsk Mine Administration, Anatoly Nikolayevich Tarnovsky was awarded the title of Hero of Socialist Labor with the award of the Order of Lenin and a gold medal "Hammer and sickle".   • He was also awarded the second Order of Lenin (05/07/1971) and medals, including "For Labor Valor" (1966) and "For Valiant Labor" (1970).
  • In 1972, the work of A.N. Tarnovsky was awarded the Certificate of Honor of the Gosstroy of the USSR. [3]
