The Russian Curling Cup among mixed pairs 2009 ( Russian Curling Cup in the double-mix discipline 2009 ) was held from September 4 to 6, 2009 in the city of Dmitrov in the arena of the Center for Figure Skating and Curling of MU SK "Dmitrov" [1] . The tournament was held for the 2nd time.

The owners of the Cup were the team “ShVSM ZVS-1” ( St. Petersburg ), who lost in the final to the team “National Team of the Leningrad Region and St. Petersburg” (which acted outside the standings) with a score of 4: 5. The third place was taken by the team “Moscow Team” ( Moscow ), who won in the match for bronze the team “SDYUSSHOR Yunost-Metar” ( Chelyabinsk ) with a score of 7: 6.

Competition Rules
Competitions were held in a circular system in four groups of 3 teams each, in one circle. Teams that took 1st and 2nd places in groups following the results of a round-robin tournament received the right to enter the second stage, playoffs , and quarter-finals of the competitions.
