Olya Lyalina (born May 4, 1971, Moscow, USSR) is a media artist , a no-art pioneer , gif model, new media theorist, professor Merz Akademie in Stuttgart [3] [4] .

Biography
Born in Moscow in 1971. Studied at the Faculty of Journalism at Moscow State University . In the 1990s, she worked as a film critic. Her enthusiasm for cinema led the artist to collaborate with Boris Yukhananov , Gleb Aleinikov , Andrei Silvestrov and others, with whom the film club Sine Fantom was organized, [5] where Lyalina first showed interest in Internet aesthetics. Having created a site for the cinema club, the artist thought about the possibility of creating a no-film made “specifically for the browser” [6] . So the artist’s first work appeared - “My Boyfriend Came Back From The War” . She founded the First Real Network Gallery and the Last Real Network Museum [7] Art Teleportacia .
Creativity
"My Boyfriend Came Back From The War" is a no-art work that exists in the virtual space. Located on the site in the network space, the no-film is made using the multiscreen technique and is a hypertext, thus allowing the user to form his own story through a series of clicks. Using hypertext, various phrases appear in separate screens. In this case, the user has the ability to click either the link or the picture, which will lead him in different ways.
