Yergaliy Daumovich Daumov ( kaz. Yergali Dauymov ; October 15, 1911 , the village of Shiderty - October 1, 1997 ) - chairman of the Stalin agricultural artels of the Merke district of the Dzhambul oblast of the Kazakh SSR . Hero of Socialist Labor (1957).

Biography
Born in 1911 in a poor Kazakh family in the village of Shiderty (today Syrymsky District, West Kazakhstan Region). In 1927 he graduated from an elementary school in the village of Shiderty and in 1937 - the Alma-Ata zoo-technical-veterinary technical school, after which he worked as a senior zoo-technician on the collective farm "Red Partisan" in the Furmanovsky district.
In 1937 he was called up for military service in the Red Army. He served in the Far East. In 1938 he took part in the Khasan battles . In 1939 he returned to Kazakhstan, where he continued to work as a livestock technician in the Dzhambeyta district of the West Kazakhstan region. After the beginning of World War II, he was appointed head of the mobilization department of the military commissariat of the West Kazakhstan region. In August 1942, sent to the front. He fought with a platoon commander as part of the 786th regiment of the reserve 4th artillery corps of the 12th artillery division. Participated in the capture of Berlin.
After demobilization in 1946, he worked as chief livestock specialist, head of the agricultural department of the West Kazakhstan region. Since 1953 - teacher of the Alma-Ata Veterinary Institute.
In 1954, he was sent to the Merkensky district, where he took over the leadership of the Stalin agricultural artels (later the “Kazakhstan” state farm). He brought agricultural stock to the number of advanced agricultural production of the Dzhambul region. By decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR dated January 11, 1957 for the particularly outstanding successes achieved in the development of virgin and fallow lands, and obtaining a high yield, Yergali Daumov was awarded the title of Hero of Socialist Labor with the award of the Serp and Molot gold medal [1 ] .
He died in 1997.
