Biography
She was born in 1907 in the village of Mazany in the Nolinsky district of the Vyatka province (now does not exist, the territory of the Nolinsky district of the Kirov region ) in the family of Mikhail Nazarovich (teacher and librarian) and Anna Fedorovna, a native of a peasant family. She was the eldest daughter among eight children.
From childhood to retirement, she worked in agriculture. In her youth she married Mikhail Rybolovlev. Together they lived and worked in the Churakovskaya commune. After the collapse of the commune, Catherine moved to the farm of the collective farm “Beginning” (later “Drummer”), and Mikhail became a collective farm accountant. Before the war, they had five children, but only one daughter survived - Galina, who became disabled, falling into a silo pit located on a farm. The husband of Ekaterina Mikhailovna died during the Great Patriotic War , and she continued to work as a milkmaid.
Rubtsova was the first milkmaid in the Kirov region to achieve five thousandth milk yield for each of the cows assigned to her. Repeatedly was a member of the All-Union Agricultural Exhibition and Exhibition Center of the USSR . For 20 years of work as a milkmaid, she increased milk yield from a cow from 1250 kg to 5000 kg.
Since 1960, E. M. Rubtsova-Rybolovleva lived at the station of Overyata, Perm Region , having moved to retire to her daughter. She died in 1996 .
She was the author of the essay "For 4,500 liters of milk per cow per year." - Kirov, Book Publishing House, 1957.
Rewards
- By a decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR of April 24, 1958, Yekaterina Mikhailovich Rubtsova was awarded the title Hero of Socialist Labor with the award of the Order of Lenin and the Gold Hammer and Sickle Medal [1] .
- She was also awarded with medals of the USSR, including gold, silver and two bronze medals of VDNH.
