“The Frontier of Glory” is a complex of memorial structures located in the places of the most fierce battles of the time of the Battle of Moscow [1] [2] . It has a length of about 550 km; most of the architectural attractions of the complex are located in the Kaluga , Moscow , Ryazan , Tver and Tula regions [2] . It began to be built in 1966, by the beginning of the XXI century it included more than a thousand monuments, sculptures, memorials, ensembles and structures, most of which are grouped in the main areas of military operations of the Soviet troops [1] [2] :
- Volokolamsk
- Dmitrovskoe,
- Klinsko-Solnechnogorsk,
- Maloyaroslavets,
- Mozhayskoye
- Naro-Fominskoe,
- Serpukhov.
The content of the elements of the memorial complex “ Frontier of Glory ” is under the jurisdiction of the Moscow government, regional and district authorities, federal authorities, as well as the command of some military institutions [2] .
