Weightlifting competitions at the IV summer Spartakiad of the peoples of the USSR were held from July 27 to August 3, 1967 in Moscow . The 42nd USSR Championship was also held as part of this tournament. 303 participants from teams of all union republics, Moscow and Leningrad were divided into 8 weight categories and competed in eventing ( bench press , jerk and push ).
