History
Sterlitamak Petrochemical Plant was founded in 1958 as an experimental unit of the Sterlitamak Synthetic Rubber Plant . The founding day of the enterprise is considered to be December 28, 1963 - it was on this day that for the first time in the USSR the first batch of isoprene rubber of the type SKI-3 was received at the plant. In 1966, the pilot production was allocated to an independent enterprise, which was called the "Experimental Industrial Plant SKI-3".
In 1967, the company mastered the production of low molecular weight rubbers, and in 1970 - the bright phenolic antioxidant Agidol-1 and the hardener for epoxy resins isomethyltetra-hydrophthalic and antihydrite. In 1976, the plant was renamed the "Experimental-Industrial Petrochemical Plant", and in 1991 received the modern name.
since March 25, 2011, the company has been a member of the TAU Group of Companies [1] .
On August 11, 2011, the company is managed by LLC Management Company TAU NefteKhim.
In 2016, in the rating of the largest exporters of the Urals and Western Siberia, "Ural export-100" according to the version of the magazine "Expert" of the JSC "SNHZ" took the 27th place [1] .
In 2017, the company launched the production of aviation gasoline
