Story

15-year-old Igor wants to become an auto mechanic and works as an apprentice in the garage, and in his spare time rides on a hand-assembled map of his own. However, most of the time he is forced to help Father Roger, who earns smuggling of illegal immigrants into the country. Roger accommodates the arrivals and provides them with the minimum amenities, and takes part of the payment by work: the illegal immigrants repair the house in which they and their son dream to live. One day during such a repair an accident happens: the black Amida, whose wife Assita recently joined him, falls from the scaffolding and suffers serious injuries. Before he dies, he asks Igor, who was the only witness of the incident, to take care of his wife, and he makes a promise. Roger, not wanting to have problems with the law, decides to keep everything secret, buries Amida’s body nearby and intends to tell Assyt that her husband escaped because of card debts. Igor faces a dilemma: to obey his father or tell the spouse of the deceased and fulfill his promise ...
