Peter Alexandrovich Zinoviev (August 22, 1903 - June 22, 1976) - Soviet film director and actor. Awarded with medals. He was a member of the Union of Cinematographers of Ukraine.

Born on August 22, 1903 in the village of Troitsky, Orenburg Region, in a working class family.
He studied at the 4th studio of the Moscow Art Theater (1921-1922). In 1927 he graduated from the State Institute of Cinematography, worked at Mosfilm as an actor [1] . He was an actor at the Meyerhold Theater [2] .
In 1936-1938 he worked as the director of the Mostechfilm film studio. Since 1938 - Director of the Uchtekhfilm film studio. Since 1940 - director of the military film studio " Voentechfilm ". Since 1942 - one of the leading directors of the Kiev film studio of popular science films [1] .
