Content

Biography

He graduated from Kharkov State University in 1953. He entered the graduate school of the same university, where he worked under the scientific supervision of the world famous theoretical physicist Academician Alexander Ilyich Akhiezer.

Since 1957 he worked at the Kharkov Institute of Physics and Technology , where he defended his candidate and doctoral dissertations. Since 1972 he worked at the Institute of Theoretical Physics in Kiev.

In 1990, he was elected a corresponding member of the NAS of Ukraine. President of the Ukrainian Gravity Society, editor-in-chief of the Bulletin of the Astronomical School.

Scientific activity

The main areas of research:

  • quantum cosmology,
  • relativistic astrophysics,
  • particle theory,
  • the structure of the physical vacuum and the manifestations of its properties in various physical processes.

He prepared five doctors and 16 candidates of sciences. The author of more than 170 scientific papers.
