Biography
Between 2008 and 2011, Allen played for the student team of the University of Monmouth at the NCAA [1] .
In parallel with the university, in 2010-2011, Allen played for the club of the fourth-level division of Central Jersey Spartans [2] .
January 17, 2012 at an additional draft MLS Allen was selected under the fifth overall number by the club “ Chivas USA ” [3] , but was not signed.
In February 2013, Allen became a player in the club of the Danish first division Skive [4] .
Upon returning to the United States, Allen watched DSC United , Orlando City , New York Red Bulls and New York Cosmos before the start of the MLS 2015 season, contacted New York City about training . Unable to get a professional contract, he got a job as a children's football coach on Staten Island [5] [6] .
On May 2, 2015, Allen signed a contract with New York City [7] . He made his debut for the club the very next day, coming on as a substitute in the match with the Seattle Sounders [8] . A week later, on May 10, he first appeared in the starting lineup in a derby against the New York Red Bulls, noting in the game an assists [9] . In the 2015 season, Allen took part in 14 matches, 13 of them came out at the start [10] . On April 27, 2016, in a match against Montreal Impact , Allen scored his first goal in MLS [11] . After the end of the 2017 season, Allen's contract was not renewed.
In December 2017, New York City exchanged Allen’s rights in Orlando City for the peak of the third round of the MLS 2018 Super Draft [13] . March 3, in the match of the first round of the season 2018 against “ DC United ”, replacing Scott Sutter in the 81st minute, Ar J made his debut for “lions ” [14] . On February 6, 2019, Orlando City expelled Allen [15] [16] .
In April 2019, Allen joined the Motown team from the amateur National Premier League. [17]
