Combichrist

In 2003, Andy recorded several Powernoise / techno tracks. This project was given the name " Drive ". Before the release of The Joy Of Gunz 's debut album on Out Of Line , it was changed to Combichrist. ^[1] The word was taken from a fan hardcore magazine published by Andy in conjunction with JR Ewing , the guitarist of the band Håkon Mella, in the late 90s. Soon, La Plegua moved to the United States, where the main residence of Combichrist and his other projects, such as Scandy , Panzer AG and Scandinavian Cock , is now located.

On Halloween 2003, a limited edition EP Kiss The Blade was released, immediately sold out. In 2004, EP Sex, Drogen Und Industrial held first place for 7 consecutive weeks in the German Alternative Charts ( DAC Charts ). In 2005, the album Everybody Hates You was released . At this time, the group actively began to use the term TBM (Techno Body Music) to describe its sound. The band even released the track "This is TBM" on the collection "Techno Body Music volume 1" of the label Out of Line . The music of the group is marked by powerful energy, frantic aggression, and strong sound.

EP Get Your Body Beat (2006) put Combichrist on the top charts of many countries again. In March 2007, the next album What The Fuck Is Wrong With You People? , which broke all sales records for both Out of Line and Metropolis Records . Combichrist released the latest album Today We Are All Demons on January 20, 2009. A new drummer, Trevor Friedrich, also appeared on the band before playing on tour with Eighteen Visions and Imperative Reaction . On May 7, 2009 Combichrist released the new EP Heat EP: All Pain Is Beat . In November 2009, the Rammstein tour began in support of the album Liebe ist für alle da , Combichrist announced the official warming up group.

In 2010, EP Scarred and EP Never Surrender , Noise Collection Vol. 1 , as well as the fifth album: Making Monsters .

From 2009 to 2011, they played as the opening act for Rammstein in the Liebe ist für alle da tour.

In 2011, simultaneously with the release of EP Throat Full of Glass , a clip of the same name was released.

The group's songs also entered the soundtrack of the multi-platform slasher DmC: Devil May Cry , released in January 2013 on Playstation 3 , Xbox 360 and PC . This led to a sharply increased popularity of the group - before that it was less known to the world community. The album itself was called No Redemption . In it, the sound of the group has changed a lot, strong shares of metal and hardcore have appeared. The musicians such as Abbey Nex ( Psyclon Nine ) and Ruslan Zhelegotov , drummer of the Norwegian dark ambient band Mortiis participated in the creation of the tracks.

In 2014, the seventh studio album We Love You was released, and a music video for the single from this album “Maggots at the party” was also shot.
