Rybchanka

Rybchanka ( Belor. Rybchanka ) is a river in Belarus , in the Molodechno and Vileika districts of the Minsk region . The length is 30 km. The catchment area is 518 km². The average annual water flow at the mouth is 3.9 m³ / s. The average slope of the water surface is 1.7 ‰ [1] .

It begins in the center of the urban village of Radoshkovichi by the confluence of the Vyazynka and Guyka rivers. The upper and middle course passes through the Molodechensky district, the lower - along the Vileika. The general direction of the current is north. Almost the entire course runs parallel to the main channel of the Vileika-Minsk water system .

It flows along the northern slopes of the Minsk Upland . The valley in the upper and lower reaches is trapezoidal, its width is 3-4 km, in the middle course it is not expressed. The floodplain over a large extent is bilateral (width 0.5-1 km), overgrown with shrubs, marshy. The channel is winding, within the Radoshkovichi (1.5 km) canalized, its width at low water is 15-17. Near the village of Raevka is a pond with an area of ​​0.15 km². On the banks of several recreation areas [1]

Main tributaries: Udra, Konotopka (on the right). The river flows the villages of Sychevichi, Bolshoi Bor, Raevka. It flows into Elijah one kilometer west of the village of Berezhok.

In September 2009, near the Sychevichy on Rybchanka, the Sychevichskaya hydroelectric power station [2] with a capacity of 110 kW [3] was commissioned.
