Robert Coverte is an English traveler.
In 1608 he traveled by sea around Africa , in 1609 he arrived in India , from where he returned by dry route through Afghanistan , Persia and Turkey , after numerous adventures.
He published: “A true and almost incredible Report of an Englishmen, that traveled by Land through many unknown Kingdoms and Great Cities”, reprinted in “Collection of Voyages and Travels” (L., 1745 , vol. II).
