Natalya Mikhailovna Chekhovskaya (born July 12, 1960, Semipalatinsk) is a Soviet and Russian ballet dancer . Honored Artist of the RSFSR (1983). People's Artist of the RSFSR (1989). Winner of the Krasnoyarsk Komsomol Prize (1983). Member of the State Duma of the second convocation (1995). Laureate of the forum “Public Recognition” (2007).

Biography
In 1978 she graduated from the Alma-Ata Choreographic School. From 1978 to 1996 - leading soloist of the Krasnoyarsk Opera and Ballet Theater . Danced "Giselle" at the opening of the theater [1] . She performed in this theater more than 20 major parties [2] .
In 1980-1988 she was elected a deputy of the Regional Council of People’s Deputies of the Krasnoyarsk Territory.
In 1983, the title of laureate of the Lenin Komsomol.
In 1983, the title of Honored Artist of the RSFSR.
In 1984 - laureate of the All-Union Ballet Competition in Moscow (1st prize, gold).
In 1984, together with her partner Vasily Polushin, she won the All-Union Ballet Competition in Moscow and the International Competition in Helsinki (1st prize, gold).
Four times elected as a deputy of the Krasnoyarsk Regional Council of People's Deputies.
In 1985 she was admitted to the Union of Theater Workers.
In 1985, at the invitation of Yu. N. Grigorovich , she performed the ballet Giselle at the Bolshoi Theater.
In 1989, awarded the title of “People's Artist of the RSFSR”
In 1992, she participated in the play "Ruslan and Lyudmila" on the stage of the Kremlin Palace of Congresses .

In 2000, she founded the Nutcracker ballet school (artistic director) [3] .
In 2005 she staged the ballet Sleeping Beauty (choreography by Petipa, revised version by N. Chekhovskaya).
In 2007 she was awarded the Order of Merit in political and cultural activities, the name of Natalia Mikhailovna Chekhovskaya was included in the world encyclopedia - “Successful People of Russia”
In 2007, the Supreme Council of the Russian Federation under the President was awarded the title of “Laureate of the Forum of Public Recognition”
