War Child ( eng. War Child - Children of War) is a charitable international organization founded in the United Kingdom in 1993 by Bill Leeson and David Wilson , whose task is to help children who are in territories of zones involved in military conflict. After the organization was established in the UK , it soon appeared in the Netherlands , Canada , USA , Sweden , Ireland and Australia . Each organization operates independently of each other.

The organization was greatly assisted by 11 bit studios , which donated all the money received from the sale of the DLC This War Of Mine: War Child Charity to the company's foundation.
