Biography
He worked at TsNIITMASH (Central Scientific Research Institute of Engineering Technology), since 1959 - at VNIImetmash (All-Russian Scientific Research and Design Institute of Metallurgical Engineering), - subsequently the department head and chief designer of the institute.
In 1953, on the initiative and with the participation of V.F. Moseev and AM Kogos (TsNIITMASH), a sample of a device for continuous winding of wire was made and tested, and in 1954 they made an application for improvement of the design.
Candidate of technical sciences (βCreation and improvement of the construction of mills for cold rolling of thin and very thin ribbons of ferrous and non-ferrous metalsβ, 1966).
Since the late 1980s, retired.
Awards and Prizes
- Stalin Prize of the second degree (1951) - for the creation of Soviet blooming
- USSR State Prize (1968) - for the development of alloys, technology, equipment and the organization of industrial production of the thinnest tapes from alloys with special physical properties.
- Prize of the Council of Ministers of the USSR (1990) - for the creation and implementation of highly efficient automated rolling equipment that ensures the development of production and industrial production of high-precision carbon tape.
