The emblem is a stylized inscription حزب الله ( Hezbollah ) - "The Party of God." The letter Alif in the word “ Allah ” “holds” a Kalashnikov assault rifle . In addition, the logo contains a globe, a book and a sword. Obviously, the overall logo design is borrowed from the Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps .
The text above the emblem, فإن حزب الله هم الغالبون ( Fa'inna hizbu 'llah hum el-galibun ) - quote from the Koran (5:56) “After all, the party of Allah, they will win . ” Under the emblem are the words المقاومة الإسلامية في لبنان ( al-mukkavama al-islamiyya fi lubnan ) - " Lebanese Islamic resistance . "
The flag was coined by Abdul ar-Rahman Mazlum and Ali Salih, an artist from the village of Brital .
