Leuter, Sofia Mikhailovna

Born on July 6, 1934 in Zhytomyr . In 1958 she graduated with honors from the philological faculty of Petrozavodsk State University . She taught Russian language and literature in the Nadvoitsky village school. ^[1] In 1965 she graduated from the graduate school of the Leningrad Library Institute by correspondence. ^[2] In 1967 she defended her thesis "Problems of the Romantic in the Works of L. A. Kassil" ^[3] , in 2002 - the doctoral thesis "Russian Children's Literature of the XX Century and Children's Folklore: Problems of Interaction" ^{[1] [4]} .

For more than 40 years she worked at the Karelian State Pedagogical Institute , now it is the Institute of Pedagogy and Psychology of Petrozavodsk State University . ^[1] Since 1996 ^[5] Professor of the Department of Literature ^{[6] [7]} , later - literature and journalism ^{[2] [1]} .
