Alexander Ivanovich Bazilevich (1785–1843) - Russian major general, George cavalier.
Occurred from the nobility of the Poltava province . In military service since May 2, 1798. From 1809 - lieutenant; December 25, 1811 promoted to captains.
In the battle of Borodino, he was commander of the 1st Battery Company of the Life Guards Artillery Brigade [1] [2] ; August 26, received a shoulder contusion. He was awarded the Order of St. George IV class.
For distinction in the battle of Bautzen was promoted to colonel; for the difference in the battle of Leipzig, he was awarded the Order of St. Vladimir of the 4th degree. He was fired on leave on May 24, 1814, “to heal a wound for one year”; December 24, 1815 was transferred to the 13th Artillery Brigade .
In 1819 he received the Order of St. Vladimir of the 3rd degree; in 1820, promoted to major general . Dismissed in 1826.
In Zvenigorod district, he owned the village of Zavetovo (68 souls); in the province of Tula ( Epifansky and Krapivna districts) had possession, in which there were 1,600 souls of serfs.
He died on January 24, 1843. He was buried at the Donskoy Cemetery in Moscow.
Wife: Alexandra Ilinichna, nee Efimenkova (1799–1843). Their children: the twins Alexander (1824–1891) and Elena, Nikolai (1825–?), Zinaida (1826–1861) [3] , Ivan (1827–?), Lydia (1829–?), Julia (1830–?) , Aglaida (1832—?).
