History
It has been known since 1680 as Fix Yakovlev. Until the 1860s residents belonged to the category of state peasants. They were engaged in agriculture, cattle breeding. At the beginning of the 20th century, 4 mills functioned. During this period, the land allotment of the rural community was 3,302 acres. Until 1921, the village was part of the Kozyl volost of the Elabuga district of the Vyatka province. Since 1921, as part of Yelabuga, since 1928 - the Chelninsky cantons of the TASSR. From 10/08/1930 in Yelabuga, from 02/19/1944 in Kosteneevsky, from 8/6/1944 in Mortovsky, from 11/19/1954 in Yelabuga regions.
In 1914, the famous Soviet and Russian geophysicist, academician of the USSR Academy of Sciences, Nikolai Nikitovich Puzyrev was born here.
