History

For more than twenty years, the station was called Krasnoslobodsk, but since the city of Penza province , and now in Mordovia , the city of Krasnoslobodsk exists, and geographical information was poorly distributed, it happened that military teams sent to the city of Krasnoslobodsk arrived at this station.

How important was the similarity of this station with the city of Krasnoslobodskiy shows the fact that even in the official publication of the Economic Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs "Russia in Road Relations" about the city of Krasnoslobodsk said:

At present, Krasnoslobodsk is one of the best cities in the Penza province, the city lies on two lines: Kozlov - Saratov and Krasnoslobodsk - Inzhavino of the Ryazan-Ural Railway. "

Meanwhile, this city lies more than 200 kilometers to the northeast from here. In order to eliminate such inconveniences, the Krasnoslobodsk station was renamed to Inokovka, named after Inokovka, located 12 kilometers southeast of the village. [2]

Since 2011, due to the low passenger flow at the station of the long-distance train, the station has not been stopped. The last train to stop at the station? was 005/006 " Lotus " Astrakhan - Moscow Paveletskaya .

Earlier, local freight and suburban communication was carried out from the station; at the moment, an un-electrified single-track branch to the Inzhavino station is not used and abandoned, thus, the Inokovka station lost its nodal value and was re-qualified as a linear freight station.
